Situated on the edge of Penrith beside the A66, 1/2 mile from the M6 (junction 40) and 1/4 mile from the Reghed Visitors Centre, the Travelodge at Penrith is ideally located for visitors to both the historic market town of Penrith, Lakeland town of Keswick and South West Scotland. Keswick and Lake Derwentwater are around 18 miles to the West giving quick access to the heart of the English Lake District on one of the most scenic routes in the country. The border city of Carlisle is 15 miles to the north with it’s Medieval castle and many visitor attractions. Just beyond Carlisle up the M6 is South West Scotland with direct access to Edinburgh, Glasgow and beyond. There is also a Little Chef restaurant on the same site.
