The Rutland Arms is in the splendid town of Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District National Park. This 19th century hotel offers elegance and distinct history amid unrivalled surroundings. The Rutland Arms Hotel is between both Matlock and Buxton, on the edge of the Chatsworth estate. The first ever Bakewell Pudding was made by a cook in the kitchens at the Rutland Arms. The hotel has 35 individually styled bedrooms, one of which it is believed that Jane Austin stayed in whist working on her novel Pride and Prejudice.
