Thornbury Castle still resonates with 500 years of history where Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn once walked these rooms and grounds and is the only Tudor castle in England to be open as a hotel and is just 15 minutes from the M5 motorway. There are 25 bedchambers and all are wonderfully distinctive, most with four-poster or coronet beds, stone walls, tapestries, roaring fires, ornate carved ceilings and views to historic parkland and the River Severn beyond. Guests are invited to experience contemporary dining in the hotels restaurant where some of the finest modern British food is served to both residents and non-residents.
